Christie A. Willett, M.A, M.S, Canine Specialist

Owner & Creator of Waggin Meals Pet Nutrition Group, LLC, Christie is the innovative force behind the brand. As a dedicated advocate for pet nutrition and a skilled Animal Nutritionist, she brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her work. Christie’s love extends beyond dogs to people as well, driving her active involvement in her community. She collaborates closely with local rescues and adoption agencies to support animal welfare. On her days off, you’ll often find her enjoying time with her husband and playing with her three beloved pups, Jax, Lil' J, and Jasmine. Christie is committed to working personally with her customers to develop customized meal plans that address the unique needs of each dog. In addition to her hands-on work, she serves as an educator, teaching animal nutrition both across the United States and internationally, with a particular focus on canines. Her research is centered on critical areas such as Animal Feed, Obesity, Stress, and Gestation, reflecting her dedication to advancing the field. Christie is currently pursuing her PhD in Animal Science, further deepening her expertise and commitment to improving pet health through nutrition.

Mitzi Kesterson

Chief Operating Officer

Mitzi is the COO of Waggin Meals, Inc. She has over a decade of experience in education and business consulting both in the US and internationally. She has earned her Master of Science degree at UTK and an advanced degree in Administration from LMU. Additionally, she has worked with animal rescue groups to foster, train, and find fur-ever homes for high-risk animals. She is excited to bring these passions together to create better lives for dogs and their human companions. In her spare time, you can find her cuddling her dog babies, creating art or culinary delights, and exploring the world.
